Vitech services were asked to help with the overheating of the building.
It was found that the heating pipes were to close together within a sealed ceiling, cause a vast amount of heat to escape to the communal corridors. Vitech remedied this by producing openings within the ceiling voids using special fabricated fire dampers bespoke made for this development. The air was then pushed through the ceiling voids to services risers that then ventilated too external. Then to make sure there was plenty of fresh air in the building we then installed devices to the internal doors and windows and roof access hatches to stay open, and if there was fire these would close on indication of the fire, also the roof vents were connected to rain sensors, so they will close when indicating rain fall.
